My name is Andy Leonard and I am 19 soon to be 20 years old, YEAH! I am the Bass player and back-up vocals for "VERY" and I love every minute of it. I have been playing Bass for about 9 years. I was kind-of encouraged by some friends in my youth group to play bass instead of regular guitar, because we needed a bass for our youth choir. So....I asked my parents and they were all for it. I started my career as a bass player at Indian Springs Baptist Curch, in Kingsport, Tn, and I have been playing ever since then and there is not a day that goes by that I do not praise God for the talent he has given me with my Bass. He has blessed me so much in learning and I give him all praise for that.
Of course, NONE of this would have been possible without God to help, but there are also others I would personally like to thank. First and Foremost, my dad and mom, Ron and Peggy Leonard for buying my first and second bass guitar for me and always encouraging me to play, even though they thought it was a little to loud. Second, I would like to thank Stan Bowan, who was my bass teacher, Thanks Stan your the greatest. I would like to thank Bro. Mike Morgan, Rev. Tom Suiter, and Indian Springs Baptist Church for all of the guidance, belief, and support that they put not only in me, but the whole youth group. And at last would like to thank the members of our band Phillip, Brad, Ric....thanks guys for bringing one of my dreams true, and it would have never happened without you guys asking me to join you.........and one more person that I need to thank........and that is Teresa, my best friend...thanks for everything and I love you....
